| Dr. Altobello earned degrees at the University of Florida and the University of Notre Dame. After 14 years as an Associate Professor of Marketing at Southern Illinois University (5 yrs as MBA Director), she moved to North Carolina where she is an Associate Professor of Marketing at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke and a Visiting Professor of Entrepreneurship at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Her research interests are in the areas of consumer behavior, digital marketing, social media, technology acceptance, international pricing, small business strategy, and services marketing, with a particular emphasis on advanced multivariate statistics. | Gisela Ammetller is an Associate Professor of Marketing at the Open University of Catalonia (UOC, Universitat Oberta de Catalunya). She holds a Bachelor in Business Administration, and a Bachelor in Marketing and Market Research from the University of Barcelona, and a PhD in Information and Knowledge Society from the UOC. At this University she has served as the Director of the Master’s Program in Marketing and Communication Management. She is a researcher of the Digital Business Research Group (DigiBiz), and her research interests lie on the fields of digital marketing, consumer behavior, entrepreneurship, and the marketing/e-learning interface. | Hernán Astudillo is currently Professor of Informatics and Chair of the Doctorate in Informatics Engineering at Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María, Valparaíso & Santiago, Chile. He has a Ph.D. in Information and Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology (1996), and an Informatics Engineer degree from UTFSM, Chile (1988). He spent several years as Senior Applications Architect in U.S.-based systems integrators, including MCI Systemhouse and Financial Systems Architects; had an academic stint in Brazil (U. of São Paulo); and joined UTFSM in 2003. At UTFSM he leads the Toeska Research Group and conducts research, teaching, publication and innovation projects in software architecture, software reuse, semantic systems development, maturity models, and the use of these areas' techniques for heritage informatics, e-government, and e-learning. |

He also was the founder and leads the AI Laboratory at University of Concepcion. Dr. Atkinson is a Member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and the American Association for Artificial Intelligence (AAAI). A former vice-president of the Chilean Computer Science Society. Recipient of the ACM Senior Member Award since 2010. His main research interests include text mining, natural language processing and machine learning. He has led national and international research projects and published in several indexed journals and conferences. He is also actively working with industry on transfer technology of AI technologies and Natural Language Processing into real-world complex problems. In the past he got involved in multi-agent systems and models for applications on intelligent search on the web, and RoboCup-style autonomous robotics. He has been visiting researcher and professor in US, UK, France, Canada and South America. He actively participates as national and international reviewer for several journals and research councils. |

| Prof Dr Pieter Ballon is Professor in Communication Sciences at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Belgium. He is also Director Living Labs at iMinds, the Flemish research institute for ICT innovation, and head of the Media Markets and Innovation unit at iMinds - SMIT.
Besides this, he is a visiting Professor at ISTIA, University of Angers, France, and a member of the Board of Directors of Cultuurnet (Culture Net) in Flanders.
His teams of Living Lab and Business Model experts, which are both embedded within iMinds, together count around 30 full-time consultants and researchers, which makes them among the most significant at the European and even worldwide level.
Since 2009, Pieter Ballon is the international Secretary of the European Network of Living Labs (ENoLL). He is also currently coordinating the Exploitation and Business Model working group for the entire EU Future Internet PPP. In 2006-2007, he headed the joint research on business models for future mobile IP-based systems of the Wireless World Initiative (WWI) in the EU 6th Framework Programme.

| Ghassan Beydoun is a Professor of Information Systems at the School of Systems, Management and Leadership at University of Technology. He received his PhD degree in knowledge systems from the University of New South Wales. His research interests include complex systems modelling, distributed decision support systems and knowledge analysis. He has been applying his results in developing decision support systems for disaster management, multi agent systems, e-learning systems, supply chain managment and other areas. He is currently working on a project sponsored by an Australian Research Council Discovery Grant to investigate the best uses of domain knowledge in developing methodologies for complex systems and at the same time working on decision support systems with SES on exploring the use of ontologies for flood management decision support. He has authored more than 120 journal and conference papers in these areas over the past 15 years. His most recent publications appeared in Information and Management, Information Systems Frontiers, IEEE Transactions of Software Engineering, Information Systems journal, International Journal of Human Computer Studies, and others. |

Results of her researches have been published in many well-known international journals and conference proceedings. | Prof. Wojciech Cellary is a computer scientist, head of the Department of Information Technology at the Poznan University of Economics. In his professional career he worked at nine universities in Poland, France, and Italy. His research interests are currently focused on Internet technologies, multimedia, electronic business and economy, electronic government and information society. He is an author of 10 books and over 150 scientific papers. He gives lectures on electronic business to over 700 students per year. He was a leader of many national and international scientific and industrial projects. He served as a consultant to several Polish ministries, Polish Parliament and Senate, as well as European Commission. He was a chairman of the Council of Informatization that is an advisory body to Polish government concerning e-government solutions in the whole public sector. Recently he also served as the Program Chair of the 6th European Ministerial eGovernment Conference “Borderless eGovernment Services for Europeans”, Poznan, Poland, November 17-18, 2011, which is a major European event in the area of e-government. |

| Dr. Mila Gascó is the Associate Research Director at the Center for Technology in Government and is also an Associate Research Professor at Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy.
Mila comes to the United States and CTG from the Center for Public Governance at ESADE Business & Law School in Barcelona, where she was a senior researcher leading the center’s research on e-governance, open government, and smart cities. She has an extensive consulting and teaching background, having worked for a wide variety of organizations including the United Nations’ Development Program, the Office of the Mayor of Valencia, Valenzuela, the Spanish Agency for International Development, the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance, and many others. She is a recipient of the Entric Prat de la Riba award, which is granted by the School of Public Administration of Catalonia to the author of the top thesis on public management and administration. She has taken part in numerous national and international seminars/conferences and regularly publishes in both English and Spanish.

| Since December 2009 I'm a professor for Service-centric Networking at Telekom Innovation Laboratories, which is a public-private partnership of Deutsche Telekom AG and Technische Universität Berlin. Before, I was an assistant professor and research assistant at the Mobile and Distributed Systems Group at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, where I received my postdoctoral lecture qualification (in German: Habilitation). Prior to that, I was a research fellow at the Chair of Computer Science IV at Aachen University of Technology, where I received my Ph.D. and diploma (both in computer science).
My research topics include new and innovative services and service concepts for the Internet and mobile networks, in particular Ubiquitous Computing, Location-based Services, and Software as a Service. My group and I are also addressing problems and challenges of Electronic and Mobile Commerce, service discovery, and open marketplaces. Besides research and teaching in these areas, other professional activities include the organization of workshops, the participation of programme committees and related reviewing activities. |

Yinsheng Li received his Ph.D from Tsinghua University in 2001, his MSc from Southeast University in 1995, and his BSc from Chongqing University in 1992.

Luna-Reyes is also a member of the Mexican National Research System, which is a peer-reviewed certification, assessing both productivity and contribution to knowledge creation. | Born in 1956, in Albergaria-a-Velha, Portugal. Received the Electronics and Telecommunications Engineer degree (5 year) in 1979, and the Ph.D in 1989, all from the University of Aveiro, Portugal.
From 1979 to the present he has been with the University of Aveiro in the Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics Department (DETI) being Lecturer (1979-1989), Assistant Professor (1989-1994), Associate Professor (1994-2004) and since 2004, Full Professor. From 1998 to 2002 was the Director of University of Aveiro Communications and Informatics Center. Since 1998 he is also senior researcher of the IEETA (Institute of Electronic Engineering and Telematics of Aveiro) Laboratory of Information Systems and Telematics and coordinator of the Digital Library group. From 1992 to 1997 he was vice-director of INESC Aveiro and coordinator of the Telematics group. He participated in several National and European RD projects in the aim of Telemedicine, Open and Distance Learning and Information Technology programs.
Since 2011 is the Director of the Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics Department.

| Professor Keith Mayes: (Ph.D., B.Sc., CEng, FIET, A.Inst.ISP) received his BSc (1st Class Hons) in Electronic Engineering in 1983 from the University of Bath and his PhD in Digital Image Processing in 1987. He is an active researcher with over 100 publications in conferences, books, journals and patents (see www.scc.rhul.ac.uk). His interests include the design of smart cards/RFIDs, mobile phones, secure protocols, communications architectures, security tokens and sensors as well as associated attacks/countermeasures. He has extensive industry experience having worked for Pye TVT, Honeywell Aerospace and Defence, Racal Research/Messenger and Vodafone UK, Europe and Global. In 2002, Keith left Vodafone to join the Information Security Group at Royal Holloway University of London; as the Director of the Smart Card Centre. Keith is a Chartered Engineer, a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology, a Founder Associate Member of the Institute of Information Security Professionals and an expert evaluator for the French Agence Nationale de Recherche. |
